Quilt Shows
The Autumn 2001 issue containing over 70 pages, many of which are in full
colour, concentrates mainly on quilt shows. Quilt BC 2001 held in Nanaimo
in May is highlighted. Winning quilts from the CQA/ACC’s National Juried
Show for 2001 are featured. Beautiful wall hangings entered in the CQA/ACC
Trend-Tex Challenge 2001 are shown. Lots of other quilt shows are showcased.
There is a quilt show questionnaire, a how-to make a quilt bag for shipping
quilts to shows, thoughts on setting goals to enter quilt shows, a list of
things to take to a quilt show, how to hang quilts and how to create
successful borders for quilts, and lots more.
