Travel

Recharging our creative batteries is very important! We all have different ways of accomplishing this. Some travel to quilt shows, museums, quilt shops, or just take in different scenery. This issue focuses on just such ideas.

Also in this issue, we present three quilters whose works reflect the environment around them, or in which they immerse themselves for periods of time. This complements our travel theme in that it exemplifies ways in which to portray what you see. We even have a techniques article on “Designing Pictorial and 3-D Quilts.” So, you will want to check out this publication to the very end, as it is jam packed with great stories and ideas.
